On 10th August 2015 at about 2:30pm, an illegal detention center created by a vigilante group at 1st Marine Gate, Warri was raided by men of the Delta State Police Command. During the raid, three (3) persons illegally detained by the vigilante group were safely rescued and set free. The vigilante Chairman, Mr. Benemefo Efe ‘m’ was arrested and taken into custody. State CIID Asaba is investigating.
